With the full support of the industry and coffee lovers, the Athens Coffee Festival 2021 was held with great success.

With a total of 16,500 visitors, the largest coffee festival in the country, returned dynamically and was sealed by unique varieties of coffee, interesting workshops and many new professional “acquaintances”. With the dynamic presence of 80 exhibitors, large production and supply companies of the coffee industry, equipment companies, suppliers of beverages (coffee, tea, energy drinks, etc.), specialized e-shops, etc., all the internationally renowned brands and Greek companies that have stood out and have managed to become industry leaders in our country, ACF was a great success. The specialized seminars of 24 experts of the Greek coffee industry, was the reference point for the Coffee industry, informing the owners and executives of the industry about the developments in equipment and technology and the baristas for the trends worldwide.

The dynamic return of ACF was the hot spot for industry professionals who had the chance to chat with the most dynamic Greek coffee experts, as well as with representatives of leading coffee brands, share their concerns with talented baristas and coffee specialists and exchange views with professional from the Greek coffee industry. At the Athens Coffee Festival 2021, the visitors discovered firsthand single origin, single estate, blends, specialty coffees, premium varieties from all over the world and became part of this great coffee celebration of our city!

Therefore, it is no coincidence that in every corner of the festival you could find coffee industry professionals who came to get informed safely, on new products that could make a difference in their business, find equipment that can upgrade their store’s offered service and pick up the vibe of the coffee industry in our country by having a talk with the market’s business actors.

Coffee Masterclasses: 18 hours of training and information

With keynote speakers from Greece, the Coffee Masterclasses, analyzed the main coffee industry’s issues.  The topics ranged from the need for proper maintenance of coffee processing machines, the next day of Greek coffee, the role of ratio in the final cup, to microroasting as a business and environmentally friendly disposables. The masterclasses took place in Innovathens hall at the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens. At the same time, in room D10, the 4th Greek Roasting Championship of SCA Greece took place, and the winners were: Nerantzis Alexandros (1st place), Ferras Alexandros (2nd place), Angelopoulos Athanasios (3rd place). Also, during the festival, visitors had to chance to win more than 150 gifts from exhibitors in daily competitions.
