The special events mapped the present and future of the industry
Thus, beyond the admittedly impressive exhibits and stands, those who attended Xenia were able to enrich their knowledge through its parallel events. The crowd’s response to Digi Hotel‘s speeches section was pretty distinctive. Hotel Megatrends, having “Innovation and Tradition” as its theme, for this year, was highly praised. Five renowned architects and designers presented correspondingly five innovative concepts for accommodation spaces on an area of 355 sq.m., placing architecture and design in the center as the key tools for the creation of a base for unforgettable experiences. Megatrends’ innovation was not limited to the unparalleled aesthetics and utility of the aforementioned spaces as right next to it a dedicated space was set up for the purpose of hosting a series of speeches on topics such as architecture, construction materials, marketing, technology, ecology, hospitality trends etc. Finally, the organization of the 3rd International Hospitality Forum by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels during Xenia 2019 was another confirmation of the important role that the exhibition plays at the development of the tourism industry of our country.
