Representatives of the trade fair organization company, FORUM SA-Member of NurnbergMesse Group, handed over on Tuesday, February 28, a check of 26,000 euros for the earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria, to the Hellenic Red Cross.

During the opening ceremony of the HORECA 2023 exhibition, on Friday February 10th, Mr. Peter Ottmann, CEO of the NürnbergMesse Group, of which FORUM SA is a member, announced – in the presence of Mr. Onur Katmerci, DCM at the Turkish Embassy in Athens – that the exhibition, responding to the great humanitarian crisis caused by the earthquake in the neighboring country, is proceeding with a donation of 26,000 euros.

Following this announcement, Mr. Stratos Apostolakos (CFO & Excecutive BoD member of FORUM SA), Mr. Filippos Papanastasiou (International Development Director of FORUM SA) and Ms. Katia Molfetta (Commercial Director of FORUM SA) visited on Tuesday 28^th of February the headquarters of the Hellenic Red Cross, in order to deliver the check of 26,000 euros in the effort to relieve those affected in Turkey and in Syria by the devastating earthquake that struck the the countries on February 6th.

The check was handed over to the President of the Hellenic Red Cross, Dr. Antonio Avgerinos (Pharmacist – Major General), who thanked them warmly for this kind gesture. The donation, through the Hellenic Red Cross, will cover the daily needs of thousands of affected people in the next period.

Through this donation, we express our fervent support for the restoration of the affected areas,” stated Mr. Stratos Apostolakos, after the donation.
