12.500 business oriented visitors at FOODTECH 2021

The F&B Industry’s premium international trade show returned dynamically and covid-free, gathering a total of 12,500 thousand professionals in the sector.

With 12,500 visitors, 200 international buyers and 120 Greek and foreign exhibitors, the 2nd FOODTECH returned dynamically in Covid-free conditions, from November 12-15 at the Metropolitan Expo, being once again the center of innovations and technological developments for the industry food and beverages. The important international buyers, the quality b2b meetings between exhibitors and visitors and the high organizational level of both the exhibition and the parallel events led to its great visiting and commercial success.

In Halls 1,2 where the 120 exhibitors’ stands were developed, innovation, robotics and smart technologies stood out, with impressive machines and applications that help to improve and automate the production line of a company.

Significant benefits from co-organizing with ARTOZA

The co-organization with ARTOZA highlighted the important synergies and multiple benefits that emerged for exhibitors and visitors. Specifically, it gave the opportunity to the owners and executives of the productive and commercial enterprises of the sector, in parallel with the technological developments for the production & packaging of the food they discovered in FOODTECH, to get in touch with leading companies in the Bakery and Confectionery sector and conclude trade agreements. With the aim of further consolidating its international brand, FOODTECH 2021 attracted 200 quality and important foreign buyers from target markets from all over the world, who during the four days of the exhibition, held more than 600 scheduled b2b meetings with exhibitors. Thus, the hosted buyers program, opened trade routes with developing international markets.

Industry 4.0 at the heart of the special events

Workshops & Seminars were held in a specially designed stage, where industry experts and market executives, addressed the most current issues of concern of the F&B industry and issues that have emerged in the post-covid era. At the same time, all the new trends in the butcher shop, modern equipment and techniques starred, among others, at FOODTECH Meat Lab. In a specially designed stage, leading professionals, industry experts, institutions and executives of the Greek meat market analyzed hot industry issues, through keynote presentations and demonstrations.
