On April 19, 2024, the first training seminar for the executive leadership team of FORUM SA by EcoSkills was successfully held on the subject of “Charging a sustainable course: The role of sustainability and ESG in shaping the future of FORUM SA”, at the company’s headquarters in Athens.  

In collaboration with EcoSkills, which specializes in the provision of educational services for professionals of all sectors in matters related to sustainable development, climate change and ESG with internationally certified programs, a specially designed training course was implemented with the aim of training 12 of FORUM SA’s management team, including the company’s President & CEO, Mr. Thanos Panagoulias and CFO & Executive BOD Member, Mr. Stratos Apostolakos. 

FORUM SA, a leader in the exhibition industry, undertook the training to further integrate sustainability into its corporate strategy and culture, ensuring that all business decisions adhere to the highest environmental and social standards while promoting governance that can shareholders trust. This initiative is part of FORUM SA’s wider commitment to sustainability, which, among other things, includes the adoption of sustainable practices for the design and implementation of its ISO 20121:2012 certified exhibitions. 

The one-day program delved into key areas critical to modern businesses navigating the evolving fields of sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Forum SA’s tailored training program covered key topics such as the business benefits of sustainability/ESG, sustainability/ESG strategy and its effective integration into corporate strategy, current and future trends, new regulations and legislation, as well as the most common standards.  

The executives concluded the training equipped with strategic insights and tools to effectively implement sustainability initiatives across the company.
