WORLD OF Beer Festival 2024 was a huge success. Thanks to all the breweries, musicians, DJs, street food chefs and stand-up comedians who took part. But most of all thanks to the 19,027 beer lovers who came and had a blast.  

19,027 beer lovers came at Technopolis – City of Athens and lived a unique experience. They discovered up close 1,000+ beers, ate delicious street food, played table football, air hockey, laughed out loud with stand-up comedy shows. They also danced with the DJ sets of great radio producers and sang along to the hits of well known artists who set the stage on fire!  

A festival with a lot of humor! 

During the three days of the festival we laughed so much! How could this not happen when four amazing comedians were a great part of it. Michalis Mathioudakis and Vyronas Theodoropoulos performed a unique stand-up comedy show. Dionysis Atzarakis as the official host of the festival welcomed all the beer lovers with the warmest smile and the most wonderful mood. Lambros Fisfis, with the energy and humor that characterizes him offered to all of us great times. He didn’t stop taking pictures with his fans but also talking about beer with our beer lovers. Also, we laughed so much that we started crying during his stand-up comedy show. >>

Dancing all day long 

We danced and had fun with the DJ sets of the wonderful radio producers Sakis Tsitomeneas and Spyros Pagiatakis from En Lefko 87.7, George Apostolou from Red 96.3 and Dimitra Terranova from Melodia 99.2. With a beer in hand, we sang out loud the hits of our favorite artists who set the scene on fire. Giaginides, Pavlina Voulgaraki, Kostas Makedonas, Domenica, Kitrina Podilata, Ble, Wedding Singers, Penny Baltatsi, Myronas Stratis gave such performances that turned the festival into a unique but different party every day. >>

We drank beer cocktails & talked about beer 

Bartenders from Radar allday bar, Ipitou and Momix made original beer cocktails for all of us. During Beer Talks & Tastings, we didn’t just drink cocktails, we heard chefs talk to us about the right food & beer pairing. And not only that! Of course, we discussed about beer: its types and their special characteristics, the importance of the right glass and serving, the basic elements required for the production of beer, the role of Microbrewery in development of the beer market in Greece and we applauded the best of Beer, who were awarded at the Greek Beer Awards. >>
